Recycling first
Recy'Potes is a mini company of about fifteen college students, where the goal is to collect, recycle, transform and sell complete planters made of pallet wood. Directing a lot towards ecology and respect for the planet, we even built a compost within the college.
The concept
Like every year, the EPA association (undertake to learn) offers middle and high school students the opportunity to create a "mini business". The goal ? Introduce students to the business world, group work and important values at work such as organization and listening to others. In 2019, it was our turn to propose our project.
Our indoor and outdoor planters were mainly made of recycled pallet wood. The aromatic plants were certified organic. Our goal was to create an ecological and entirely recycled product in order to eat better.
During the creation of this mini company, we initially had an oral interview with real human resources recruiters from different companies in order to determine our role in the company. For my part, I joined the IT and finance department. My goal was to develop our project outside of college through google files, a website or even an online store. My second role was to manage and oversee the finances of the mini business, be it expenses or earnings.

REGIONAL COMPETITION FOR MINI COMPANIES
WINNER
At the end of our schooling, we passed a Hauts de France competition, symbolizing the end of an ambitious project. After the coming of the jury on a stand designed for the occasion, we left with the first place of this EPA competition.
